Wastewater Treatment
Wastewater treatment utilities use various tanks for different stages of wastewater treatment processing – from Sedimentation/collection, aeration to sludge processing and anaerobic digestion.
Novarius Global provides a diverse range of high performing and cost-effective tank solutions for each stage across the domestic and industrial wastewater sector.
Our design, fabrication and on-site installation process strictly adhere to the industry standards including ANSI/AWWA D103, UBC, AISC and others.

Aeration tanks/Process water tanks
Aeration provides oxygen to the bacteria in the wastewater which in turn breaks down the organic matter which settles as a sludge. Our precision-engineered, high performing Aeration tanks are provided with diffuser pipelines connected to blowers which pumps in the required oxygen. These tanks are widely deployed for wastewater treatment in industrial and domestic sewage plants.
Since the aeration tank is continuously in contact with the oxygen, it is more prone to oxidation/corrosion. Primarily made from Glass fused to steel and Fusion Bonded epoxy Coating which offers superior resistance from corrosion, the Novarius Global modular tanks are easy to install and low on maintenance. Most of these tanks come with a range of accessories including diffuser line arrangement.
Clarifiers / Eqvilization tanks
Clarifiers are tanks designed to deliver a constant rate of flow and contaminants to treatment systems upstream. Industrial effluents cover a wide range of biodegradable, inhibiting and toxic constituents. An Eqvilization tank is used to reduce the amount of chemicals utilized, maintain an optimum PH level, balance levels of the organic compounds and equalize the flow rate.
Novarius Global’s glass fused to steel and epoxy coated steel tanks, manufactured as per the highest standards and quality control procedure at each production stage, are ideally suited to store the toughest and corrosive effluent. A conical concrete bottom is provided for each tank to collect and pump out the sludge formed as a by-product of the clarification process.
Sludge holding tank
Sludge, or the residue accumulated in sewage treatment plants, need to be further treated and disposed. Given the nature of the residue, the sludge holding tanks need be highly resistant to chemical corrosion and be abrasion proof. Our above-ground sludge holding tanks – made from glass fused to steel, or galvanized steel with specific lining or fusion bonded epoxy coated - are perfectly adapted to such conditions and has been used extensively in various sewage treatment applications. An aeration system is also provided for an aerobic sludge holding tank, making our solutions most cost effective and viable.
Bio digester
Novarius global bolted metallic bio digesters are designed keeping in mind the various factors that can affect the anaerobic digestion process including operating temperature, vapour zone, thermal expansion, chloride content, and others. Our tanks can be custom-made to the capacity requirement or constraints on the installation site.
An epoxy coated, glass fused to steel or a stainless-steel tank is best suitable for a bio digester system.
