Raw Water Tank

Raw water covers a wide range of water collected initially for further treatment. This can be raw sea water collected for subsequent treatment in a desalination plant, or it can be surface or ground water for treatment of either potable or irrigation purposes.

Based on the site condition and the budget, we can provide different customised solutions - a Glass fused to steel or epoxy coated tank, stainless steel tank sealed with a top grade food grade mastic sealant or with a galvanized steel tank either with a mastic sealant or a membrane liner. All Novarius raw water tanks are provided with the necessary accessories including guide bars, ladders, manholes, level indicators and others.

Potable Water Tank

Novarius potable water tanks are fabricated as per the highest international standards, with the epoxy coatings sourced from leading, well-established manufacturers of Europe and USA. Every tank meets the International food grade quality standards like WRAS (UK) and NSF (USA), and are engineered to meet the most stringent atmospheric and seismic conditions.

All the fabrication and coating processes are CNC controlled with minimum human intervention to ensure highest quality standard and consistency. All the sheet metal fabrication is done by a CNC controlled laser cutter while the coatings are applied by an automatic electrostatic gun for a uniform application of the coating across the pre-treated metal.

Deionised Water Storage
Tank

Deionization is a process by which all the minerals in the water is removed, this makes making the resultant water highly acidic and corrosive. Thus, deionized water immediately starts reacting and leaching when in contact with any metal or concrete surface. This leaching process adds impurities into the deionized water making the water impure for use.

Our glass fused to steel tanks, epoxy coated tanks or galvanized tanks with a special membrane is most suitable for this application due to their inert and non-reactive properties. We also recommend applying a special epoxy coating to the concrete bottom of the tanks to safeguard the leaching of concrete into the stored deionized water.
